Warmth Where You Want It Call us on 01480 582581
Older heating systems used to have one thermostat, usually found in the hallway, so the entire house was heated to the specified temperature. Heating controls are more sophisticated these days!
The new heating systems have not only zoning systems (and this is a requirement in the new building regulations) so each floor has its own thermostat, but each radiator can have a separate thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) so you can set the temperature in every room separately.
This means that the heating is at the temperature you want in the rooms where you need it. If you have a spare bedroom that is rarely used, you can keep it at a lower temperature, just to keep it aired. If someone in the family likes a cool room to sleep and others like a warm, toasty bedroom – no problem.
If you'd like to find out about replacing or upgrading your heating controls, call us on 01480 582581 or visit our contact page to request more information.
We can bring your heating right up to date with the latest controls. We can fit intelligent controls (e.g. Hive) to let you control your central heating and hot water anytime. Zoning of your heating system can also be incorporated into programmable TRVs (Thermostatic Radiator Valves).
